Summary

Apply a list of tags to a WhatsApp legacy contact identified by their international phone number, updating the contact's tag set idempotently in the whatsapp_contacts data store.

Inputs

• Phone Number (required) — The contact's phone number in international format, used to identify the WhatsApp legacy contact.
• Tags (required) — A comma-separated list of tags to add to the contact; this tag assignment is idempotent (tags are deduplicated and trimmed before applying).

Output shape

a list of JSON objects representing the updated contact tags from the API response

Returns one item per input; the response JSON includes the updated contact tags state. Errors may be returned per item if requests fail.
