Summary

Fetches the full details of all direct child objects of a NetXMS object, optionally filtered by object class or by name/alias substring.

Inputs

• Object ID (required) — Numeric ID of the parent object whose direct children are retrieved.
• Class Filter — Optional (under Additional Fields). Comma-separated object class names, e.g. "Node,Container". Sent as the class query parameter; omitted if empty.
• Name Filter — Optional (under Additional Fields). Returns only children whose name or alias contains this string. Sent as the filter query parameter; omitted if empty.

Output shape

Child object records returned by the NetXMS REST API. A list response becomes one n8n item per child, and a single object becomes one item.

Only direct children are returned, not deeper descendants. Use Get Sub-Tree for the whole hierarchy. The node logs in to the server for a session token on each execution. Runs once per input item. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as an item with an error message.
