Summary

Retrieves a list of NetXMS objects from the server, optionally filtered by name/alias substring or limited to direct children of a given parent object.

Inputs

• Additional Fields > Filter — Substring matched against object name or alias. Sent as the filter query parameter only if non-empty.
• Additional Fields > Parent Object ID — Returns only direct children of this object. Sent as the parent query parameter only if non-zero; 0 (the default) means top-level objects.

Output shape

The server's JSON response from GET /v1/objects, converted to n8n items. An array response becomes one item per object; a single object becomes one item.

The exact object fields depend on the NetXMS REST API. The node does no pagination. It logs in per execution using the netXmsApi credentials. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed input item yields an item containing an error message.

Examples

Example 1: List top-level objects in the NetXMS tree

Resource: Object, Operation: Get Many, no additional fields.

Example 2: Find objects whose name or alias contains 'router'

Add Additional Field Filter = 'router'.

Example 3: List the direct children of a container with ID 25

Add Additional Field Parent Object ID = 25.
