Summary

Updates a NextLead contact found by contact ID, email, or LinkedIn URL. You can send selected contact fields, set custom field values, add a note, and optionally link a matching structure; with Create If Missing enabled, the operation creates a contact when no identifier matches, then applies the update.

Inputs

• Contact ID, Email, or LinkedIn URL — Identifiers used to find the contact. Contact ID is described as the most reliable; email and LinkedIn URL are alternatives.
• Create If Missing — When enabled, creates a contact if none matches, using the email and Update Fields, then applies the update. The output carries created: true. Requires NextLead of October 2026 or later.
• Update Fields — Only fields added to this collection are sent, so fields left untouched keep their current value. Available fields include contact details, list and assignment settings, statuses, lead score, priority, consent flags, and first-touch UTM attribution.
• Custom Fields — Add one or more custom field values by selecting a field name or ID and providing its value.
• Note — Optionally add one note with content, an optional title, and an optional author user. The author defaults to the assigned user if unspecified.
• Find Structure — Optionally describe an existing structure to link to the contact by ID, SIRET, email, exact case-insensitive name, or phone. Choose whether it becomes the main structure; criteria matching multiple structures fail the node.
