Summary

Upload a binary file to Palatine Speech to generate a meeting summary or a summary guided by a custom prompt. Wait for completion by polling when the service returns a task ID.

Inputs

  • summarizeTask — Choose Meeting Summary (default) or User Prompt.
  • prompt — Custom instructions, shown for User Prompt mode. An empty prompt sends ""; Meeting Summary always sends "".
  • thinking — Request thinking mode for summarization; defaults to false.
  • binaryProperty (required) — Binary field containing the file to upload; defaults to data. The upload helper reads file metadata from the first input item.
  • polling — Set pollIntervalMs (500–900000 ms; default 20000) and maxPollAttempts (1–1000; default 500). Intervals of 500 or 1000 are replaced with 20000; attempt limits of 200 or 300 are replaced with 500.
  • requestOptions — Optional request batching, SSL certificate validation bypass, proxy, and response timeout settings. The helper's separate polling requests do not explicitly forward these settings.

Output shape

JSON items containing task: "summarize", input_type: "file", source_file, and summary, with the incoming binary data preserved.

summary retains the service result as a string, object, or array; its internal fields are not fixed by the node. Polled results are unwrapped from result, data, output, or response. Without a task ID, the initial response becomes summary. source_file is empty when filename metadata is absent. Failed tasks and exhausted polling limits raise errors.

Examples
