Summary

Performs a named flow action on a Pega Launchpad assignment by sending a PATCH request with the supplied JSON content and an If-Match ETag, optionally specifying an outcome.

Inputs

• Authentication — Authentication method; only OAuth2 is available (uses the pegalaunchpadOAuth2Api credential).
• Base URL (required) — Base URL of the Pega Launchpad instance, e.g. https://your-pega-domain.com. A trailing slash is stripped.
• Assignment ID (required) — ID of the assignment to act on; used in the request path.
• Action Name (required) — Name of the action to perform (e.g. CollectClaimInfo); used in the request path.
• If-Match (required) — ETag from a prior Get response (e.g. W/"3"). Trimmed, and a leading uppercase 'W/' is converted to 'w/' before being sent as the If-Match header.
• Content (required) — JSON object with the action's field values. Parsed from a string if needed; invalid JSON raises an error. Sent as the body's content.
• Outcome — Optional outcome (e.g. Submit), appended as an ?outcome= query parameter when non-empty. It is not URL-encoded.

Output shape

One output item per input item: the parsed JSON response body from Pega, plus a responseHeaders object holding the response headers (string, number, boolean values; arrays joined with commas).

Calls PATCH /dx/api/application/v2/assignments/{assignmentId}/actions/{actionName} with body {content, pageInstructions: []}. If the response has no body, the item contains only responseHeaders. A stale or incorrect ETag will cause an API error. On error, the node throws, or with Continue On Fail returns an item with an error message. Run Get first to obtain the current ETag from responseHeaders.
