Summary

Create a thumbnail image from the binary data of each input item with configurable size, format, quality, and size limits.

Inputs

• Tool Category — Specifies the group of tools to display; default is 'Documents' but 'Image' is relevant for thumbnails.
• Binary Property (required) — Binary property name to read input image data from each item.
• Max Input Size Bytes — Maximum allowed size in bytes for the input binary data per item; defaults to 25,000,000 bytes.
• Output Binary Property (required) — Binary property name where the generated thumbnail image file is stored.
• Image Options — Options configuring the thumbnail: size (pixels, default 256), output format (png, jpeg, webp; default png), quality (1-100, default 80), and max output size bytes (default 25,000,000).

Output shape

a list of items each containing a binary property with the created thumbnail image file.

Processes each input item individually, reading the specified binary property containing image data, generating a thumbnail according to the configured options, and saving the result in the specified output binary property. Input and output sizes are enforced by the configured max size parameters.

Examples

Example 1: Generating a 256x256 PNG thumbnail from each input item's binary image data available in the 'data' binary property and storing the output in the 'data' binary property.
