Summary

Creates a post for one selected platform and one or more connected social accounts using Postora. It can publish immediately or schedule the post, with optional media and platform-specific settings.

Inputs

  • Platform (required) — Choose Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or Bluesky.
  • Social Account Names or IDs (required) — Select one or more connected accounts for the chosen platform. For LinkedIn, selections include both an account and a destination.
  • Post Type — For Facebook and Instagram, choose Feed, Story, or Reel. Story uses a single media file; caption and other text options are ignored.
  • Caption (required) — Text for the post. Hidden for Facebook and Instagram Stories.
  • Media Source — Choose no media, public URLs, binary data from a previous node, or media file IDs returned by Postora's Media → Upload operation. Stories require a media source. URL and ID lists can be comma-separated; binary property names can also be comma-separated.
  • Media URLs — Direct public links to image or video files when Media Source is URL.
  • Binary Property — Name or comma-separated names of input binary properties when Media Source is Binary Data. Defaults to data.
  • Media File ID(s) — Comma-separated UUIDs returned by Media → Upload when Media Source is Media File ID.
  • Schedule At — Date and time for future publishing. Leave empty to publish immediately.
  • Additional Options — Optional platform settings: first comment for Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, and YouTube; YouTube title, visibility, and category; Pinterest board ID and title. Facebook and Instagram first-comment options are hidden for Stories.

Output shape

A single Postora API response object per input item, in an n8n item’s json field.

For immediate posts, the node attempts a status lookup and merges the returned post record into the response; if that lookup fails, the response includes post_status_lookup_error. Scheduled posts skip this lookup. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as { "error": "..." } items. Although some additional options are declared for TikTok and Reddit, those platforms are rejected as unavailable for publishing.
