Summary

Transfer ownership of a specified document within a workspace to a new owner via their email address.

Inputs

• Workspace Name or ID (required) — Select the workspace containing the document, from the list or by supplying its ID via expression.
• Document Name or ID (required) — Choose the target document to transfer ownership of, from the list filtered by the selected workspace, or specify its ID using an expression.
• New Owner Email (required) — Provide the email address of the new owner to whom the document ownership will be transferred.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the updated document after ownership transfer

The operation returns the updated document data as JSON. Each input item produces a corresponding output item with the change result. Errors are handled according to node settings.

Example 1: Transfer ownership of a document to a new user within a workspace

Select the workspace and document, then input the email of the new owner to transfer document ownership.
