Summary

Update an RD Station Conversas contact identified by phone with selected fields and return the API response. The operation sends a PATCH request; at least one update field must be provided.

Inputs

• Phone (required) — Contact phone in E.164 format. Used to identify the contact.
• Update Fields — Optional fields to update: address JSON, birth date, CNPJ, code, CPF, customizable fields, description, email, full name, job JSON, new phone, RG, and tags. Birth date is sent as YYYY-MM-DD; new phone is sent as cel_phone. Empty string fields are omitted.
• Body JSON — Optional raw JSON object merged into the request body. Its values override matching fields from Update Fields.

Output shape

A single API response record or a list of response items.

Array responses are emitted as separate n8n items. Object responses are returned as-is; scalar responses are wrapped in a data property. Invalid JSON objects or an empty update body cause an operation error.

Examples

Example 1: Update a contact’s email and tags

Set Phone to the existing contact’s E.164 phone, then provide Email and one or more Tags under Update Fields.

Example 2: Update fields unsupported by the form

Provide them in Body JSON; raw values override fields generated from Update Fields.
