Summary

Create a new email broadcast to send to a specified audience within Resend.

Inputs

• Audience (required) — Select the audience to send the broadcast to, either by selecting from a list of existing audiences or by providing the audience ID.
• From (required) — The sender email address, which must belong to a verified domain in Resend.
• Subject (required) — The subject line of the broadcast email.
• Body Type (required) — Specify if the body content is in HTML or plain text format.
• HTML Body (required) — The HTML content of the email body; required if Body Type is HTML.
• Text Body (required) — The plain text content of the email body; required if Body Type is Text.
• Additional Fields — Optional extra details such as Reply To email address and a name label for the broadcast.

Output shape

a single record representing the created broadcast, including details such as its ID and status

The output contains the API response for the newly created broadcast. No pagination applies as this is a creation operation.
