Summary

Update a contact's details in a specified audience by identifying the contact either by Contact ID or email address and providing the fields to modify.

Inputs

• Audience (required) — The audience that contains the contact to update, selectable from a searchable list or by specifying its ID.
• Lookup By (required) — Method to identify the contact to update, either by Contact ID or by Email.
• Contact (when Lookup By is Contact ID) (required) — The contact to update, selectable from a searchable list within the audience or by specifying its contact ID.
• Email (when Lookup By is Email) (required) — The email address of the contact to update.
• Update Fields — The contact properties to update, such as first name, last name, and unsubscribe status.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated contact details returned by the API

The updated contact data is returned after a successful API call. Errors are returned if the contact or audience cannot be found or update fails.
