Summary

Logs an email against a selected SalesSuite contact or deal. Provide the sender, recipients, and HTML email content; optionally include CC, BCC, a subject, and the send time.

Inputs

• Attach To — Choose whether to associate the email with a contact (default) or a deal.
• Contact Name or ID (required) — Select the contact to attach the email to; can use an expression for the ID. Shown when Attach To is Contact.
• Deal Name or ID (required) — Select the deal to attach the email to; can use an expression for the ID. Shown when Attach To is Deal.
• From (required) — Sender email address.
• To (required) — Recipient addresses, separated by commas or newlines.
• CC — Optional CC addresses, separated by commas or newlines.
• BCC — Optional BCC addresses, separated by commas or newlines.
• Subject — Email subject.
• Content (required) — Email body as an HTML string. Wrap plain text lines in HTML elements such as

  for correct rendering.

• Email Sent At — Optional email send date and time in ISO 8601 format.

Output shape

A single output item containing the API response for the created email activity.

The operation parses comma- or newline-separated recipient addresses before sending the request. The supplied source pack lists this operation's handler but omits its implementation body, so the exact response fields are not shown.

Example 1: Record an email sent to a contact

Attach To: Contact; choose a contact; enter From, To, and HTML Content. Optionally set CC, BCC, Subject, and Email Sent At.
