Summary

Update a ScraperAPI AI Parser by adding, redefining, renaming, or removing extraction fields. Adding or modifying fields can generate a new parser version; choose a parser ID and optionally target a specific version.

Inputs

• Parser ID (required) — ID of the parser to update.
• Version — Version to target; -1 (default) uses the latest. Must be a non-negative integer when specifying a version.
• Add Fields — Fields to add, each with a name and description, and optionally a type (string, number, or array) and CSS selector. Adding fields triggers parser version generation.
• Modify Fields — Existing fields to redefine, using a name and description and optionally a type and CSS selector. Modifying fields triggers parser version generation.
• Rename Fields — Rename fields by providing each current name and its new name. Renaming does not regenerate the parser.
• Remove Fields — Names of fields to remove.

Output shape

A single item containing the HTTP response details for the update request.

The item JSON includes resource and response fields; response contains body, headers, statusCode, and statusMessage. At least one non-empty field change must be provided. The request uses the configured ScraperAPI credentials.
