Summary

Submit an audio file for quick, temporary transcription using the Scriberr API's WhisperX engine and receive a transcription job ID for status tracking.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Select authentication method: API Key or JWT (Bearer Token).
• Audio File (required) — Path or field name containing the audio file to transcribe.
• Job Title — Optional title for the transcription job.
• Transcription Parameters (JSON) — Optional JSON object of WhisperX transcription parameters.
• Profile Name — Optional profile name to use for transcription settings.
• Request Options — Optional request settings including batching, SSL handling, proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the quick transcription job ID and initial job details

The transcription job ID can be used with the 'Get Quick Transcription' operation to poll for status and results. The transcription and its data are temporary and discarded after 6 hours.

Examples

Example 1: Submit a local audio file with default API Key authentication and receive a quick transcription job ID for short-term transcription tasks.

Set 'Authentication' to 'API Key', provide 'Audio File' path, optionally set 'Job Title', 'Transcription Parameters', or 'Profile Name'.
