Summary

Update an activity owned by the authenticated Strava athlete by sending the selected fields to Strava. Requires the activity:write scope.

Inputs

• Activity ID (required) — Numeric identifier of the activity to update.
• Fields to Update — Optionally set Commute, Description, Gear ID, Hide From Home, Name, Sport Type, Trainer, or deprecated Type. Only non-empty values are sent; enter none for Gear ID to clear the associated gear.

Output shape

A single activity record

Returns the JSON response from Strava for the updated activity. The request uses PUT; empty strings are omitted, while false boolean values are retained when explicitly selected.
