Summary

Export a Strava route as a GPX file by specifying the route's identifier, optionally returning it as binary data or raw XML string.

Inputs

• Route ID (required) — The identifier of the route to export as GPX.
• Download as Binary — Toggle to receive the GPX file as binary data (true) or raw XML string in JSON output (false). Defaults to true.
• Put Output File in Field (required) — The name of the binary field in the output item that will hold the GPX file data, used only if 'Download as Binary' is enabled.

Output shape

a single binary file or a JSON object containing the raw XML string and metadata

If 'Download as Binary' is true (default), the output contains one item with an empty JSON object and a binary field named as specified, containing the GPX file data with filename 'strava-route-.gpx' and MIME type 'application/gpx+xml'. If false, the output JSON includes keys 'data' (the raw XML string), 'fileName' (filename), and 'mimeType', without any binary data.
