Summary

Update a specified custom field value on a Task within a chosen Project and Organization in TaskPano.

Inputs

• Organization Name or ID — Select the organization by name or ID from a dropdown or use an expression to specify it.
• Project Name or ID — Select the project by its numeric ID from a dropdown, dependent on the chosen organization, or specify via expression.
• Task Name or ID (required) — Select the task to update either from a searchable list filtered by project or by entering its alphanumeric ID.
• Custom Field Name or ID (required) — Select the custom field to update from a list filtered by organization, project, and task, or specify its numeric ID.
• Value (required) — Set the value for the custom field; enter manually for most types (boolean as 0/1, date as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM) or select from available options for select-type fields.

Output shape

a single updated task record reflecting the changed custom field value

Returns the updated task data after modifying the specified custom field. Only one custom field update per execution.

Examples

Example 1: Update the priority custom field of a specific task to 'High' by selecting the organization, project, task, and custom field from lists and entering the new value manually.

Set 'Organization Name or ID' and 'Project Name or ID' to filter tasks; pick the target task and custom field from lists; input the new value manually.
