Summary

Create a new WhatsApp session

Inputs

• sessionName (required) — A readable name for the new session. E.g. "Customer Service Bot"
• newSessionId — Manually override the generated Session ID. E.g. "custom_id_123"
• botConfig — Key-Value pairs for bot configuration
• sessionSettings — Key-Value pairs for session settings

Output shape

a single session record

Contains the generated session ID and any provided custom ID, plus metadata about the created session.

Example 1: Create a session with a custom ID

sessionName: "Customer Service Bot", newSessionId: "custom_001"

Example 2: Create a session and set bot configuration
