Summary

Sends a WhatsApp contact card (vCard) to a recipient through the Wasup API, either from a chosen instance or from one Wasup selects automatically.

Inputs

• Auto-Select Instance — When on, Wasup picks a connected instance and the request goes to /api/send. When off, the request goes to /api/instances/{id}/send for the instance you choose.
• From Phone — Shown only with Auto-Select. Optional connected number to send from, passed as from_phone. Omitted if empty.
• Instance (required) — The Wasup instance to send from, picked from a list or entered by ID. Hidden when Auto-Select is on.
• To (required) — Recipient phone number with country code (no + or spaces), or a chat id.
• Display Name (required) — Name shown on the shared contact card.
• Phone Number (required) — Phone number of the contact being shared, e.g. +60123456789.
• Advanced Options — Optional collection with Typing Simulation, Human Delay, Skip Contact Save and Contact Name (used when auto-saving the recipient). Set values are merged into the request body; empty strings are dropped.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the JSON response returned by the Wasup send endpoint. Responses that are arrays become multiple items.

The exact response fields are not defined in the node. Other Wasup send responses include a message_id, which you can use with Get Status or React. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed item returns {error: message} instead of stopping the workflow.

Examples

Example 1: Share a support agent's contact with a customer from a specific number.

Auto-Select off; Instance = chosen from list; To = 60123456789; Display Name = Support Agent; Phone Number = +60111222333.

Example 2: Send a contact card from any connected number without naming an instance.

Auto-Select on; leave From Phone empty; set To, Display Name and Phone Number.

Example 3: Send a contact card without simulated delays and without saving the recipient.

Advanced Options: Typing Simulation off, Human Delay off, Skip Contact Save on.
