Summary

Sets or replaces the WhatsApp profile picture of a Wasup instance by sending an image URL to the Wasup API.

Inputs

• Instance (required) — The WhatsApp instance to update. Choose it from a searchable list or enter its ID directly (e.g. wa_lxyz123_abc45).
• Image URL (required) — URL of the image to use as the new profile photo (e.g. https://example.com/logo.png). The node passes it as imageUrl in the request body. Wasup fetches the image, so the URL should be reachable by the Wasup server.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the JSON response from the Wasup API for the picture update.

The response fields aren't defined in the node, so they depend on the Wasup server. If the API returns an array, each element becomes its own item. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed item returns { error: message } instead of stopping the workflow.

Examples

Example 1: Update a support number's avatar to the company logo.

Example 2: Set each instance's picture from a URL held in the incoming data.

Instance: By ID, set to an expression such as {{$json.instanceId}}; Image URL: {{$json.logoUrl}}
