Summary

Update properties of an existing profile in the workspace by specifying its unique Profile ID and new values for name, description, color, and default status as desired.

Inputs

• Profile ID (required) — The unique identifier of the profile to update.
• Name — New name for the profile; leave empty to retain the current name.
• Description — Optional description to help remember the profile's purpose.
• Color — Hex color code to visually identify the profile in the dashboard.
• Set as Default — Boolean flag to set whether this profile should be the default for the workspace.
• Request Options — Optional advanced HTTP request settings such as batching, ignoring SSL issues, proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

a single updated profile record

The operation returns the updated profile data reflecting any changes made. Optional request options influence the HTTP request but do not affect output shape.

Examples

Example 1: Updating a profile's name and setting it as default

Provide the Profile ID, specify a new name and set 'Set as Default' to true. Optionally include color and description to update those fields as well.
