Summary

Create a new contact or update an existing one in the Notifuse workspace identified by email.

Inputs

• Email (required) — Email address that uniquely identifies the contact.
• Additional Fields — Optional contact attributes such as external ID, first name, last name, full name, phone, timezone, language, job title, address lines, country, postcode, and state.
• Custom Fields — Optional custom attributes merged into the contact: these include custom_string_1 to custom_string_5, custom_number_1 to custom_number_5, custom_datetime_1 to custom_datetime_5, and custom_json_1 to custom_json_5, specified as key-value pairs.

Output shape

a single contact object reflecting the created or updated contact.

The contact is identified uniquely by the provided email. The operation sends a POST to '/api/contacts.upsert' with the contact data including standard and custom fields merged. Errors during the request throw node errors. The response returns the details of the created or updated contact.
