Summary

Import up to 50 custom events in batch, creating contacts automatically if missing, including optional properties and metadata.

Inputs

• Events (required) — A list of custom events to import. Each event requires the contact's Email, Event Name, and External ID, with optional fields Occurred At (ISO 8601 date-time), Goal Type, Source (API, Integration, or Import), and Properties as key/value pairs.

a single response object from the /api/customEvents.import endpoint

The operation sends a POST request to import the events and returns the API response. Each event in the batch must include required fields; up to 50 events can be imported per request.

Examples

Example 1: Import multiple custom events with associated contact emails and event details

Provide an array of event objects under the 'Events' parameter, each containing the required email, event_name, and external_id fields, optionally including occurred_at, goal_type, source, and properties key/value pairs.
