Summary

Update the details of a contact in Respond.io identified by either their numeric ID, email, or phone number.

Inputs

• Identifier Type (required) — Choose how to identify the contact to update: by Id, Email, or Phone.
• Contact ID (required) — Numeric ID of the contact; required if Identifier Type is 'Id'.
• Contact Identifier (required) — Email or phone number of the contact; required if Identifier Type is 'Email' or 'Phone'.
• Contact's First Name — New first name for the contact.
• Contact's Last Name — New last name for the contact.
• Contact's Email Address — New email address for the contact.
• Contact's Phone Number — New phone number for the contact.
• Contact's Preferred Language — New preferred language of the contact, from a wide list of ISO codes.
• Contact's Profile Picture URL — New profile picture URL for the contact.
• Contact's Country — New country of the contact, selected from a list of country ISO codes.
• Custom Fields — Additional custom fields to update on the contact, supporting auto-mapping and multi-key matching.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated contact's data

The response contains the updated contact's full data; the operation resolves to the contact identified by the chosen identifier type. The update fields are optional (except identifier) and only supplied fields will be updated.
