Summary

Update an existing Discount Position Group by specifying its ID and modifying its associated customer, position group, discount value, and discount type.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Select the authentication method to use, either Bearer Token or Basic Auth.
• Discount Name or ID (required) — Choose the ID of the Discount Position Group to update from a list or provide it via an expression.
• Customer Name or ID (required) — Select the Customer ID to associate with the discount position group, either from a list or via an expression.
• Position Group Name or ID (required) — Select the Position Group ID to associate with the discount position group, either from a list or via an expression.
• Discount Value — Set the value of the discount to apply.
• Discount Type — Select the type of discount to apply, choosing among Amount, Fix, Percent, or Quantity.

Output shape

a single updated Discount Position Group record

Returns the updated Discount Position Group object reflecting the changes specified. Requires valid authentication and the ID of the Discount Position Group to update.

Examples

Example 1: Update an existing discount position group to change its discount to 15% for a specific customer and position group.

Authentication set to Bearer Token; specify the Discount Position Group ID; set Customer ID and Position Group ID; set Discount Value to 15 and Discount Type to Percent.
