AI-generatedSummary
Search Google using a query or Knowledge Graph identifier, with optional device, location, language, country, filtering, pagination, and request optimization settings. The node sends these settings as SearchApi request query parameters.
Inputs
- Search Query (q) — Google search terms; supports operators and advanced filters. Provide this or Kgmid.
- Kgmid — A Google Knowledge Graph entity identifier. Provide this or Search Query.
- Device — Search as desktop (default), mobile, or tablet.
- Geographic Location — Set a canonical location or provide an encoded Google location (UULE) for more precise control; the two location fields cannot be used together.
- Localization — Optionally set the search country (gl, defaults to US), restrict results by document country (cr) or language (lr), set the interface language (hl, defaults to English), or specify a Google domain.
- Filters — Optionally control duplicate-content and host-crowding filters, spelling-correction results, SafeSearch, date range, and verbatim query handling.
- Pagination — Choose a results page (defaults to 1). Results Per Page defaults to 10; the UI notes Google phased out this parameter in September 2025 and now returns a constant 10.
- Optimization Strategy — Choose Performance (default) or Ad Scraping Rate, which prioritizes ad collection success at the cost of longer processing.
- Zero Data Retention — Enable zero retention to disable storage and logging of request parameters, HTML, and JSON responses.
- Request Options — Configure batching, SSL certificate validation, an HTTP proxy, and request timeout.
Output shape
A list of items containing the SearchApi Google search response.
The supplied source pack contains no executable method bodies, so it does not establish the exact response fields or whether the response is transformed before being returned.
Examples
Example 1: Page through results while adapting query parameters based on previous responses
Set Search Query to a query string, and optionally configure pagination and location, country, language, filtering, and optimization settings. Use workflow expressions to derive these values from earlier node outputs.
