Summary

Creates a Clockodo absence for the selected user and date range, using the chosen absence type and any supplied status, note, day or hour count, or sick note setting.

Inputs

• Date Since (required) — Absence start date; the time portion is ignored.
• Date Until (required) — Absence end date; the time portion is ignored.
• Type (required) — Absence type, such as Regular Holiday, Sick Day, or Home Office.
• User ID — Co-worker the absence is for; 0 selects the current API user.
• Note — Optional note for the absence.
• Count Days — Number of absence days, such as 0.5 for a half day; described as auto-calculated if empty.
• Count Hours — Hours for overtime reduction; described as calculated if empty.
• Status — Enquired / Reported or Approved; the UI states that only these statuses are allowed when creating an absence.
• Sick Note — Whether a doctor's sick note exists, for sick day types.
• Request Options — Optional HTTP request settings: batching, SSL certificate validation, proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

A single Clockodo API response item for the created absence.

Optional fields may be omitted when empty. The provided source pack shows only a signature-level view of the absence implementation, so response wrapping and exact request handling are not visible.
