Summary

Update an Infisical project environment by ID, optionally changing its display name, slug, or display position. The operation sends a PATCH request and returns the updated environment for each input item.

Inputs

• Project ID (required) — ID of the Infisical project containing the environment.
• Environment ID (required) — ID of the environment to update.
• Update Fields: Name — New display name (declared length: 1–255 characters). The source omits this field when its value is empty.
• Update Fields: Position — New display position; lower numbers appear first. The UI defaults to 1, and the source includes the value when it is provided.
• Update Fields: Slug — New environment slug (declared length: 1–64 characters). The source omits this field when its value is empty.

Output shape

One item containing the updated environment object per input item.

Uses the response's environment property when present; otherwise returns the response body itself. Each output item is paired with its input item. API errors fail the operation unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case an item containing an error message is returned.
