Summary

Update a folder in an Infisical project and environment by its folder ID. The request sets the folder name and parent path, and can also set its description.

Inputs

• Project ID (required) — The Infisical project containing the folder.
• Environment (required) — The environment slug; defaults to dev.
• Folder Path — The parent path for the folder; defaults to /.
• Folder ID (required) — The ID of the folder to update.
• Folder Name (required) — The folder's name to set.
• Description — An updated label for the folder, supplied under Additional Fields.

Output shape

A single folder record per input item.

Sends a PATCH request to the folder endpoint and returns the folder field from the response as the output JSON.
