Summary

Update a record of a specified entity type in EspoCRM by specifying the record ID and providing new values for one or more fields.

Inputs

• Entity Type Name or ID (required) — Select the type of entity to update from the provided list or specify its ID using an expression.
• Record ID (required) — Enter the unique identifier of the record to update.
• Fields (required) — Specify one or multiple fields to update by selecting their names or IDs and providing the new values.

Fields to update are provided as multiple key-value pairs. The response includes the updated record data. Ensure the Record ID corresponds to an existing record of the specified entity type.

Examples

Example 1: Update the contact's email and phone number by specifying the entity type as 'Contact', the record ID of the contact, and the fields 'emailAddress' and 'phoneNumber' with new values.

Set 'Entity Type Name or ID' to 'Contact', fill in 'Record ID' with the target contact's ID, and add fields 'emailAddress' and 'phoneNumber' with the new values to be saved.
