Import → Import Into Existing Table

AI-generated

Summary

Imports CSV or JSON data into a selected existing Zoho Analytics table or view. Choose whether to append rows, truncate the table before adding rows, or update matching rows and add unmatched rows.

Inputs

  • Organization (required) — Zoho Analytics organization to use for the import.
  • Workspace (required) — Workspace containing the destination table or view.
  • View (required) — Existing table or view to import into.
  • Import Type — Choose Append (default), Truncate and Add, or Update and Add. For Update and Add, optionally provide Matching Columns as comma-separated names used to match existing rows.
  • File Type — CSV (default) or JSON format.
  • Input Source — Provide data as text or use a binary file from the incoming item.
  • Data — CSV or JSON text to import when Input Source is Data Text. Required in this mode.
  • Input Binary Field — Name of the incoming binary property containing the file; defaults to data. Required in Binary File mode.
  • Auto Identify — Whether Zoho should identify CSV/JSON format details automatically; defaults to true.
  • On Error — Optional Zoho error handling: Abort Import, Set Column Empty, or Skip Row. Defaults to Not Set.
  • Selected Columns — Comma-separated column names to import; leave empty to import all columns.
  • Additional Config (JSON) — Optional JSON object of extra Zoho CONFIG fields, such as date formats, column data types, delimiter, quoting, comment character, or column-name retention.

Output shape

One output item per input item, each containing the Zoho import response in json.

The operation sends a POST request to the selected view's data endpoint. Binary input is uploaded as a file; text input is sent as the DATA parameter. With Continue On Fail enabled, an item that encounters an error instead returns an error field in its JSON.
