Summary

Retrieve detailed data for a specified Item or Subitem in Worktables by its ID, with options to include related subitems or parent items and to control the columns fetched.

Inputs

• Item ID (required) — The unique identifier of the Item or Subitem to retrieve, supporting expressions.
• Is Subitem — Indicate whether the target ID is a subitem (true) or a main item (false). Defaults to false.
• Fetch Subitems — When retrieving a main item, choose whether to include its subitems in the result. Defaults to false.
• Fetch Parent Item — When retrieving a subitem, choose whether to include its parent item in the result. Defaults to false.
• Fetch All Columns — Select whether to fetch all columns for the item or only specific columns. Defaults to true.
• Column IDs — If not fetching all columns, specify a comma-separated list of column IDs to retrieve (e.g., text, number, date).

Output shape

a single object representing the Item or Subitem along with selected related items if requested

The output includes all columns by default unless specific columns are requested; related subitems or parent items are optionally included based on input flags. Errors occur if the Item ID is invalid or inaccessible.
