Summary

Creates a new row in a specified Xano table.

Inputs

• workspace (required) — The workspace where the target table resides, selected by name/ID or provided via an expression.
• table (required) — The table within the workspace to insert the row into, selected by name/ID or provided via an expression. Depends on the selected workspace.
• fields — A collection of field‑value pairs to set in the new row. Each item requires a 'Field Name or ID' (selected via getTableFields, dependent on workspace and table) and a 'Field Value' (string). Multiple fields can be added; omitted fields will use their default values as defined in Xano.

Output shape

An object containing the created row as returned by the Xano API, typically including the row’s system fields (e.g., id, created_at, updated_at) plus the values supplied in the fields collection.

The exact structure mirrors the Xano table schema; n8n passes through the API response unchanged.
