Summary

Creates multiple rows in a specified Xano table.

Inputs

• workspace (required) — Workspace name or ID where the table resides.
• table (required) — Table name or ID to insert rows into.
• configMethod (required) — Defines how the rows to create are provided. Use 'fieldBuilder' to build items via UI, or 'jsonInput' to supply a JSON array directly.
• items — When configMethod is 'fieldBuilder', a fixed collection of items. Each item contains a 'fields' collection where each field has a 'name' (field name or ID) and a 'value' (string). Use the 'Add New Item' button to add more rows and the 'Add Field' button inside each item to add columns.
• itemsJson — When configMethod is 'jsonInput', a JSON array where each object represents a row. Object keys must match field names in the Xano table.
• allowIdField — If set to true, the input may include an 'id' field; otherwise the id field is stripped before sending the request.

Output shape

Returns an array of the created row objects. Each object contains the submitted field values plus the auto‑generated ID assigned by Xano.

Examples

Example 1: Bulk create users using the Field Builder.

Select workspace and table, set configMethod to 'Field Builder', add two items under Items to Create, each with fields: name (value: 'Alice'), email (value: 'alice@example.com'); and name (value: 'Bob'), email (value: 'bob@example.com'). Allow ID Field left false.

Example 2: Bulk create products via JSON Input.

Select workspace and table, set configMethod to 'JSON Input', provide Items (JSON Array) as: [ { 'sku': 'ABC123', 'price': 19.99, 'stock': 100 }, { 'sku': 'XYZ789', 'price': 29.99, 'stock': 50 } ].
