Summary

Authenticate to a WoodWing Assets Server by sending username and password, receiving an authentication token and server version information.

Inputs

• License Key — Optional license key string to remove fair-use notices and support development.
• Debug to Console — Enable logging of detailed debug information to the n8n console with redacted auth tokens.
• Pass Through Binary Data — Choose whether to pass through binary data from input to output, useful when chaining operations that handle files.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing success status, an authentication token string, and server version information

The output JSON includes { success: true, message, authToken, serverVersion }. If 'Pass Through Binary Data' is enabled and the input contains binary data, it is preserved in the output binary property. Errors during login are thrown and can be caught via n8n's error handling.
