Summary

Create one or more folders on the WoodWing Assets Server by specifying full folder paths, authenticating either by login or using an existing token.

Inputs

• Authentication Method (required) — Choose how to authenticate for the folder creation: either automatically login and then create, or reuse a token from a previous login operation.
• Auth Token (required) — When using the 'Use Token From Previous Login' authentication method, provide the authentication token obtained previously.
• Folder Path (required) — The full path of the primary folder to create, e.g., '/Demo Zone/My Folder'.
• Additional Folders — Optional additional folder paths to create, one per line. Note that creating more than 50 folders may cause URL length issues.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the server response, including success or error details; optionally passes through binary data if enabled.

If 'Pass Through Binary Data' is enabled, binary data from input items is preserved in the output. Errors from the server or failed operations will be returned in the JSON with 'success': false. Authentication is required either by login or token reuse before folders are created.

Examples

Example 1: Create a single folder with automatic login authentication

Set Authentication Method to 'Login and Create', specify Folder Path, leave Additional Folders empty or unset.

Example 2: Create multiple folders reusing an existing auth token

Set Authentication Method to 'Use Token From Previous Login', provide the auth token, specify Folder Path and list additional folders in the Additional Folders field, one per line.
