Async Job → Get Result

AI-generated

Summary

Downloads the output file of a completed Allscreenshots async job and attaches it as binary data, alongside the job's status record as JSON.

Inputs

  • Job ID (required) — ID of the async screenshot job (e.g. job_abc123...).
  • Output ID — For jobs created with multiple outputs, the ID of the specific output to download (e.g. pdf, markdown, or a custom output ID). If empty, the primary result is fetched.
  • Put Output in Field — Name of the binary field that will hold the downloaded file. Defaults to 'data'.

Output shape

One item per input item: json is the job status object returned by the API (GET /v1/screenshots/jobs/{jobId}), and binary holds the downloaded result under the chosen field name.

The node first fetches job status and throws an error unless status is COMPLETED (the message includes the current status), so poll with Get Status or use a webhook first. File name and MIME type are derived from the response Content-Type (pdf, jpeg, webp, html, md, json; anything else defaults to png). With Continue On Fail enabled, failures yield an item with json.error instead.

Examples

Example 1: Save the screenshot from a finished async capture

Job ID = {{ $json.jobId }} from a Capture Async step; Output ID empty; Put Output in Field = data.

Example 2: Download the PDF output of a multi-output job

Job ID set from earlier node; Output ID = pdf; Put Output in Field = pdfFile.
