Summary

Import multiple companies into the Crono system, supporting options to handle duplicates, enrich company data, and specify import details.

Inputs

• API Version — Specify the Crono Public API version number, defaulting to 1.
• Use Raw JSON — Toggle to send the raw JSON payload directly. When enabled, provide the complete JSON data under 'Data (JSON)'.
• Data (JSON) — Provide raw JSON data for import when 'Use Raw JSON' is true; the input is wrapped under a 'data' key automatically.
• Companies — List of companies to import when 'Use Raw JSON' is false. Each includes fields like name (required), annual revenue, country, external JSON values, industry, LinkedIn, list ID, number of employees, owner, phone, and website.
• Import Type — Choose how duplicates are handled: ignore, update, or update and change ownership.
• File Name — Optional file name associated with the import.
• Enrich Company — Flag to enable enrichment of company data during import.
• AI External Property IDs — Comma-separated list of AI external property IDs to generate during import.
• Additional Fields — Additional data fields to merge into the payload when not using raw JSON.

Output shape

a JSON object containing the import response from the Crono API

The response contains details about the import result, including any errors or successfully imported company records. If 'Use Raw JSON' is true, the provided JSON is sent directly with minimal modification; otherwise, the node constructs a payload from the UI parameters. Duplicate handling behavior and enrichment depend on selected options.

Examples

Example 1: Import companies with duplicate ignoring and enrichment enabled

Provide multiple companies with required 'name' and optional other fields; set 'Import Type' to 'IgnoreDuplicates'; enable 'Enrich Company'. The node imports the companies, enriching their data and skipping duplicates.

Example 2: Import using raw JSON data

Enable 'Use Raw JSON' and input the complete JSON payload under 'Data (JSON)'. The node sends this data under a 'data' envelope as-is to Crono.
