Summary

Update an assessment by ID, sending any supplied additional or custom field values to the Reporter API. The operation can change assessment settings such as its template, status, scoring system, visibility, reports, and assigned client teams.

Inputs

• Id (required) — Select the assessment to update.
• Additional Fields — Optionally provide assessment properties to update, including template, client, language, theme, finding layout, status, title, tags, descriptions, research hours, visibility and report settings, retest settings, user restrictions, and short IDs. Some changes have API constraints: the template can only change when the assessment has no findings, and the scoring system cannot change once it has findings. Total and researcher research hours must be supplied together when either is present.
• Custom Fields — Optionally set one or more custom field values by selecting a field and entering its value.

Output shape

A single assessment record returned by the API.

The update request is sent once for each incoming n8n item; provided additional and custom fields are included in the request body.
