Summary

Updates a finding template identified by its required ID. Sends supplied template details, translation settings, and custom field values to Reporter; omitted optional fields are not added to the request body.

Inputs

• Id (required) — The finding template ID to update.
• Additional Fields — Optional update fields: translation language (defaults to the template’s primary language; selecting a language without an existing translation creates one), primary language, title, tags, vulnerability flag, severity metrics, severity, classifications, priority, complexity, recommended action, description, risk, recommendation, proof, and references. Supply only fields to update; severity is required when is_vulnerability is false.
• Custom Fields — Zero or more custom field/value pairs to include in the update.

Output shape

A single API response item containing the updated finding template.

The operation sends an update request for each input item. The exact response fields depend on the Reporter API.
