Summary

Create a finding template in Reporter with a title, vulnerability flag, and description, plus optional severity, classification, remediation, document, tag, language, and custom field data.

Inputs

• Title (required) — Template title, up to 191 characters.
• Is vulnerability (required) — Whether the template describes a vulnerability. Severity metrics are associated with vulnerability templates.
• Description (required) — Text describing the finding template.
• Additional Fields — Optional primary language, tags, severity metrics, severity, classifications, priority, complexity, action, risk, recommendation, proof, references, and draft document IDs. Severity is required when Is vulnerability is false; for vulnerabilities, severity is determined from severity metrics.
• Custom Fields — Optional custom field/value pairs to include with the template.

Output shape

A single item containing the API response for the created finding template.

The operation sends the supplied values in a create request. The source does not show a special response transformation or a more specific response shape.
