Summary

Send a photo message to a GTalk channel using an input binary image, an image URL, or an existing numeric File ID. The node uploads binary data or URL images, then posts the photo attachment with its caption and optional parsing mode.

Inputs

  • Channel ID (required) — ID of the GTalk channel to receive the photo.
  • Photo Source (required) — Choose Binary Field (the default) or URL or File ID.
  • Binary Property (required) — When using Binary Field, name of the incoming binary property containing the image; defaults to data.
  • Photo (required) — When using URL or File ID, provide an HTTP(S) image URL or numeric File ID.
  • Caption — Optional caption to include with the photo.
  • Client Message ID — Optional idempotency key. Reusing a value lets GTalk discard duplicate messages; if omitted, the node derives a value stable across retries.
  • Parse Mode — Choose Plain Text, Markdown, or HTML parsing for the message content.
  • Request Options — Node-level HTTP settings for batching, SSL certificate validation, proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

A list of items, each containing a json object with data and errorCode.

Successful responses return GTalk's data (or an empty object if absent) and errorCode. A duplicate message is treated as delivered and returns empty data, errorCode: "success", and deduplicated: true. Input binaries and downloaded URL images are limited to 100 MB; URL images are uploaded with a generated thumbnail. Existing numeric File IDs are used directly after retrieving image dimensions.
