Summary

Send a message to WhatsApp groups or contacts

Inputs

• releaseId (required) — Select the campaign (required). Use Expression for dynamic IDs.
• accountId — Select the WhatsApp account to use (optional). Leave empty to use accountIds.
• chooseSpecificGroups — Target specific groups instead of all campaign groups.
• groupIds — IDs of target groups; populated based on selected campaign when chooseSpecificGroups is true.
• messageType (required) — Type of message to send (audioMessage, documentMessage, imageMessage, extendedTextMessage, videoMessage).
• genericText — Message text content (used when messageType is extendedTextMessage).
• genericUrl — URL of image/video/audio/document to send (used for media message types).
• genericCaption — Caption/description for media messages.
• genericFileName — Displayed file name for documentMessage.
• genericPtt — Whether to send audio as a push‑to‑talk (voice) message.
• genericOptions — Additional options for sending messages.
• accountIds — JSON array of account IDs to use for bulk sending.
• ephemeralExpiration — Ephemeral expiration time in seconds (for text messages).
• linkPreview — Enable link preview (text messages only).
• mentionAllParticipants — Mention all participants in the message.
• scheduledTo — ISO 8601 timestamp to schedule the message.
• shippingSpeed — Speed of message dispatch (none, custom, fast, normal, slow).
• customSpeedMin — Minimum seconds between sends when shippingSpeed is custom.
• customSpeedMax — Maximum seconds between sends when shippingSpeed is custom.

Output shape

an array of result objects, each representing the outcome for one input item; typical fields include success, error, and any API‑returned data such as message IDs.

If continueOnFail is enabled, failures are returned as error messages within the result object; otherwise the operation throws an error and aborts.
