Summary

Search contacts related to a carrier or company using filters such as DOT number, company name, job title keywords, and job title seniority levels.

Inputs

• DOT Number — USDOT number of the carrier to filter contacts (optional, provide DOT number and/or company name).
• Additional Fields — Optional filters including Company Name (search by company name instead of DOT number), Job Title (filter by job title keyword), and Job Title Levels (comma-separated seniority levels: c_suite, vp, director, manager, staff).
• Limit — Maximum number of contact results to return, from 1 up to 200 (default 25).

Output shape

a list of contact objects matching the search criteria

If the requested contacts are still being fetched asynchronously, the operation will retry internally until the data is ready or max retries are reached, otherwise it returns the search results wrapped as separate items.

Examples

Example 1: Search contacts for a carrier by DOT number with a limit of 10 results

Set 'DOT Number' to the carrier's USDOT number, leave company name empty, and set 'Limit' to 10.

Example 2: Search contacts for a company by name, filtering for job title containing 'Safety Director' at director level or above

Leave 'DOT Number' empty, set 'Company Name' to company name, enter 'Safety Director' in 'Job Title', and 'c_suite,vp,director' in 'Job Title Levels'.
