Summary

List crash records for a carrier by its USDOT number, optionally filtering by crash severity and date range, returning up to a specified limit of records.

Inputs

• DOT Number (required) — USDOT number of the carrier to query crash records for.
• Additional Fields — Optional filters including Severity (All, Fatal, Injury, Tow), Start Date, and End Date to narrow down the crash records.
• Limit — Maximum number of crash records to return (between 1 and 200, default 25).

Output shape

a list of crash record objects

Returns an array of crash data associated with the specified carrier USDOT number, filtered by the optional severity and date parameters if provided. Pagination is controlled by the limit parameter; the response does not indicate multi-page support within this operation.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve up to 50 fatal crashes for carrier DOT 80806 from 2024-01-01 to 2024-12-31.

Set DOT Number to '80806', Severity to 'Fatal', Start Date to '2024-01-01', End Date to '2024-12-31', and Limit to 50.
