Summary

Generate images from a prompt using a selected ApexApi image model. Choose an output size, optionally request multiple images or provide a reference image URL for editing models; results include hosted image URLs and the raw API response, with inline base64 images emitted as n8n binary data.

Inputs

  • Model Name or ID (required) — Select an available image model or provide its ID.
  • Prompt (required) — Text describing the image to generate.
  • Size — Choose 1024×1024, 1080×1080, 1080×1920, 1920×1080, or Custom. The API adapts the requested size or aspect ratio to the provider.
  • Custom Size — Shown when Size is Custom. Enter width×height in pixels; the declared range is 1–4096 per side.
  • Number of Images — Optional image count (n); defaults to 1.
  • Reference Image URL — Optional source image URL for image-editing or img2img models. Text-to-image models ignore it.

Output shape

One n8n item per input item, containing JSON with urls and response; it may also contain binary image data.

urls contains hosted image links only. Inline base64 images are emitted as binary properties named data, data1, and so on; response contains the raw API response. If the request fails and Continue On Fail is enabled, the item instead contains an error field.
