Summary

Submits a prompt to the selected ApexApi video model to generate a clip, with configurable aspect ratio, resolution, duration, audio, and optional reference media. By default, polls the job until it completes or fails, or until the polling limit is reached.

Inputs

• Model (required) — Choose an available video model or enter its ID. The resolution and duration choices adapt to the selected model.
• Prompt (required) — Text describing the video to generate.
• Aspect Ratio — Output ratio; defaults to 16:9. The API validates support for the selected model.
• Resolution — Output resolution, defaulting to 720p. Preset values are adjusted to a supported resolution when necessary.
• Duration — Clip length preset, defaulting to 5 seconds; available presets depend on the model. Choose Custom to enter 1–60 seconds, which is sent as entered for provider validation.
• Generate Audio — Whether to request native audio; defaults to false. Models that do not support audio may ignore this setting.
• Reference Image URL — Optional starting image for image-to-video models.
• End Image URL — Optional last-frame image for models that support it.
• Reference Video URL — Optional source video for reference-to-video models.
• Wait for Completion — Defaults to true. When enabled and the submission returns a job ID, poll for a terminal status; otherwise return the initial submission response.
• Max Poll Seconds — Polling deadline, default 300 seconds.
• Poll Interval Seconds — Delay between status requests, default 5 seconds.

Output shape

A single item per input item, with the video job response in its JSON data.

With waiting enabled, returns the latest job response when status is completed or failed, or when the polling deadline is reached. If no job ID is returned, it returns the submission response without polling. Errors are thrown unless the node is configured to continue on fail, in which case the item contains an error field.
