Summary

Publish a photo with an optional caption or a text-only post to a Facebook page feed using stored client credentials.

Inputs

• clientName (required) — Select the client to use; credentials are automatically loaded from the database.
• fbPostType (required) — Choose the type of post: photo or text.
• fbPhotoUrl (required) — Public URL of the image to post (required if post type is photo).
• fbPostCaption — Optional caption text accompanying the photo.
• fbPostText (required) — Text content of the post (required if post type is text).

Output shape

a single JSON object describing the published post, including Facebook API response data, success status, resource and operation identifiers, client name, and additional metadata

If the post type is photo, the node performs a POST to the Facebook page photos endpoint with the image URL and optional caption, publishing it immediately. For text posts, it posts to the page feed with the message text. An error will be thrown on failure. The credentials ('clientName') must exist in the node's connected database and include a valid page ID and access token.
