Summary

Publish an image post to the Instagram feed of a selected client by uploading a public image URL with an optional caption. The operation creates a media container, polls its processing status, and publishes the post automatically once ready.

Inputs

• clientName (required) — Select the Instagram client whose credentials are loaded automatically from the database.
• uploadImageUrl (required) — Public URL of the image (JPG or PNG, up to 8 MB) to be published as the post.
• caption — Optional text caption to accompany the image post.

Output shape

a JSON object containing details of the published post including resource, operation, client name, container ID, publish status, and the number of attempts taken for processing.

The operation waits up to 60 seconds polling every 2 seconds for media processing. If processing fails or times out, an error is thrown. On success, the post is published automatically and relevant publication info is returned.
